Delivery charges vary as per the delivery mode is chosen by you and are as follows:
- Standard Shipping in India – Free Delivery
- Store Pickup in Delhi, India – Free
- Expedited Shipping in India – INR 150.00
National Delivery (within India) – There are NO hidden charges when you make a purchase on Giftsmate. List prices are final and all-inclusive. The price you see on the product page is exactly what you would pay. Delivery charges are not hidden charges and are charged extra depending on the chosen delivery mode.

a. Giftsmate’s Fault
For orders where we are at fault, instances like broken product delivered, spelling errors etc. shipping fee for the replacements are borne by us (Upto INR 150/-). In this case we will either arrange a reverse pickup for your order (after checking the pincode) or you would have to send the product back to us. And to claim the shipping charges send us the scanned e-copy of the courier receipt to firstname.lastname@example.org and the amount will be returned to you in the form of Giftsmate Reward Points which you can used for shopping at Giftsmate.net in the future.
b. Customer’s Fault
In instances where customer wants to change his initial order to a different item, shipping charges have to borne by the customer themselves.
For Replacement, customer needs to send the product back to our facility. Shipping Cost (to and fro) for replacement will be borne by the customer and would depend on the product size else you can also opt for pickup & delivery charges of INR 180/- (each time) by Giftsmate.

Your delivery time depends on 2 variables – product’s processing time and transit time to your pincode. Please check the product page to get the processing time and calculate the transit time here.
If your order is paid and confirmed and you would want to change the address or any other detail in your order then you won’t be able to do it yourself. In that case, please send in an email to us at email@example.com along with your order ID and all the changes you would now need.
For address changes:
- If the order is in stage – Processing / Invoice ready / Print Ready, changes will be done immediately at zero cost.
- If the order is in stage – Completed, changes will only be done after communicating with the courier agency and may attract an extra address change fee. This would be communicated to you after checking with the courier.
- If the order is in stage – Completed, but has been returned back to us because of incorrect address then the customer would have to bear the reshipping charges.
- If the order is in stage – Delivered, then we would not be able to make any changes and the customer would have to check it himself.
Orders will normally leave our facility within 3 – 4 business days of order placement. Large bulk orders may take longer. Please note that after we ship the order, shipping transit times will also apply. Ground shipping transit times vary from 1-5 business days depending on your location in the country.
We generally ship the items within the time specified on the product page. Business days exclude public holidays and Sundays.
Estimated delivery time depends on the following factors:
- Shipping time specified with the product.
- Product’s availability.
- Customization time for products.
- The destination to which you want the order to be shipped.
PS: Deliveries to remote pincodes usually take about 7-10 business Days.
Yes if your gift has only flowers or a cake it can be delivered on Sunday. However, if your gift has any other gift item, you will need to place a request with us so we can deliver it with your cake or flower order on Sunday while the other gift items are delivered on next possible business day since none of the shipping companies in India deliver on Sundays. 🙁
Yes, you can mention the specific delivery date in the Special Instructions section in the Order form and we will try to deliver your order in the mentioned timelines. However please note, that this is a complimentary service and does not abide us to follow a certain timeline. The delivery of the product depends on a lot of factors like product’s processing time, delivery time, delivery pincode and other external factors which are beyond our control and this may result in exceeding the delivery date suggested by you.
Yes, we do but for cakes & flowers only. For Midnight Delivery Prior intimation is required and is available for limited cities only and only if it’s ordered prior to 5 pm IST for the same day midnight delivery or for a later date. It will be charged extra apart from Delivery Charges.
(PS :- If the order is not delivered in the night, it will be delivered next day morning and night charges will be refunded to your Giftsmate Account as Reward Points).
Sorry at this moment we do not offer early morning deliveries. Regular courier deliveries start at 10 AM IST and for cakes, our partner bakeries prepare fresh cakes which are available only by 10 am and we deliver only fresh cakes. Hence, deliveries are possible post at 11 AM only.

Your order tracking no. is mentioned in 2 parts:
- Shipping Agency Name e.g. Fedex Couriers, Bluedart, Overnite, India Post etc.
- Tracking no. e.g. 134xxxxxx i.e. an alphanumeric string which is the consignment no. provided by shipping agency to track the delivery status of your order on their website.
Once you’ve access to your Airway Bill No. with shipping agency name, you can visit our Shipping Partners section to track your order.

It takes some time for all of our tracking numbers to send to the respective courier agency. Give the network some time to update itself, and your tracking will show progress as soon as the numbers hit the system. Sometimes, it can take up to 48 hours to process, so your patience is appreciated. In case the problem is still unresolved within the given time frame, please feel free to contact us.
Opting for express shipping does not alters the processing time of a product but only helps to reduce the transit time. This service depends on the delivery pincode and can be only refunded when the following scenarios are met.
- Your order is not sent via priority shipping or is delivered later than – processing time + transit time.
- Priority delivery service is not available in the shipping pincode.

Yes, we are! At a lot of times, our shipments are delayed and are sent late in the evening. In those cases, all tracking numbers are updated the next morning.
It is possible that there is a holiday between the day you placed your order and the date of delivery, which is based on the timelines shown on the product page. In this case, we add a day to the estimated date. Courier Partners do not work on Sundays and this is factored in to the delivery dates.

For deliveries by courier
In case it is an office or a residential complex address, the parcel would be delivered at the reception. We advise you to inform your people about the package arrival to avoid future confusion/delay. In case it is a residential address where no one is available, the delivery personnel would contact you on the provided shipping phone number to coordinate delivery. You may advise them to leave the package with your neighbor at your own discretion. In case the courier agency is unable to reach you via phone or the address is incorrect they would attempt the delivery thrice, which if unattended would be sent back to us without any other intimation.
For Cakes & Flowers deliveries
Our delivery team, always confirms by phone for the recipient availability at his delivery address, however if the phone is unanswered and recipient is not available our team will contact you to find out the next possible time for delivery and availability which may incur extra cost since the cake cannot be stored for a period of more than 6 hours to preserve the freshness. In case of flowers second attempt will be made at no extra cost.
However, third & subsequent attempts will be charged at INR 200/- (Subject to location) per attempt for delivery of flowers or cakes.
If an order is being shipped anywhere in India and is lost in transit, a replacement will be provided.

No, shipping charges would not be included in the refund value of your order as this is a non-refundable charge.
In case we are unable to meet the shipping criteria, the shipping fee can be refunded via full value Giftsmate reward points valid for lifetime credited to your giftsmate account.

Our Gifts are shipped from our head office at Minto Road, New Delhi, India. Your gifts may occasionally be shipped separately on the rare occasion that we are out of stock of any gift you ordered and hence is shipped directly from the manufacturer. If this happens we will notify you in advance.
